Not just your adverage Hair coloring question?

I just got my hair colored. I really love it, but I want to change it a bit and wondering how I can do it without do much damage. My normal color is dark blond. I had them "break the base" at the top and the rest is a very dark cherry red. The results are great, but I want a little more blond around my face. Could I handle this at home and if so how does one go about changing red back to blond? Lastly, what is a good conditioner for my now colored locks? The process cost me $200.00 so I really don't want to go back and spend more (husband would shoot me). Please help.

Go to your stylist. In my shop I only charge about three dollars a foil and you probably won't get more than three to brighten your face. Nine bucks is a great deal compared to what you might spend to fix it if you mess it up. Call your stylist and tell them your situation, I'm sure you both can figure out a plan. They will also be able to recomend a great conditioner that fits your specific need. Best of luck!!

I honestly wouldn't suggest trying to do this at home. red is VERY hard to get out and you run the risk of turning your hair orange or over-processing it and making it break off/fall out. give your hair a rest. I'm sure it looks fine and you really don't need anymore blonde!

as for conditioner, go for something like a deep conditioning balm like Matrix Biolage. that stuff rocks!

well first of all you dont have to spend another couple hundred bucks for this one!!! all you need to do is go to walgreens or any other place and get a highlight kit. you could do a little or alot its up to you.
