Teasing hair? coloring hair?

how do you "tease" hair? also, iu have naturally dirty blonde hair, but i am sick of the coloring. what color should i go? lighter/darker? what?

ha,ha,ha....perpare to spend hour in front of the mirror with a comb in one hand and a bottle of hair spray in the other if so.

believe me it doesn't come easy.

You should never go more than two shades either way,because it would be costly and time consuming to maintain. Teasing hair ,well not certain I can explain that one. It's a way to add lift to the hair with "backcombing." The lightness/darkness of your hair would depend on skin tone. Try maybe some highlights,see how you like those first,rather than one all over shade. Good luck`

Teasing is also referred to as backcombing... and that's just how you do it. In small sections, comb back from about halfway up the length of the hair to your scalp. Repeat it a few times to get it messy, then cover with another section of hair to give it a smooth appearance. And don't worry, it'll comb back out easy, just don't use a lot of styling product in it. Being the summer, I'd add a bunch of super highlights, it'll lighten up your hair and be natural looking, and I bet you'll like the results... just go to a salon, for the love of God, do not do highlights yourself!
