When to color hair after last coloring?

How long is it ok to color hair after the last coloring..? I colored mine two months ago and i bought another to color, hoping today. Is it safe to do so this soon?

The last coloring i bought said it is supposed to be permanent hair color but it is all washed out, does hair color wash out this soon?

And i just bought the same brand i used last time because i liked the color, in which i will use for sure again...

Even permanant colour fades after time- I think reds are the most prone to fading. There is no real problem with colouring your hair straight after applying a different colouring if that's what you wish to do- but be warned if it is lighter than your previous one there is a good chance that you will be able to see regrowth from your previous colour. If you do wish to colour your hair frequently I would suggest you use a semi permanant one- they are kinder to your hair, and the regrowth is less obvious as the colour fades more

You should be ok to recolour. However, your last colour could have appeared washed out for a few reasons. Hair colour fades more quickly if the hair is dry and porous. If it has had lots of sun on it(iknow-chance would be good) or if you are using an anti-dandruff shampoo. 'Red' tones of colour also fade quicker than most. If the colour hasn't washed out completly try to apply to the regrowth first for 10 mins and then apply to mid lengths and ends of the hair for the remaining development time. That way you won't overprocess your hair as much.Hope i was useful.

I know many people who dye there hair every 3 months. I personally do it. I think 2 months is ok and if it's all washed out or almost all then i dont see a problem. I am not great with things like this though. Hope someone more knowledgable can help.

yes colour today and it will be fine. ive coloured mine loads of times as have my friends and we have all dyed it a certain colour were not keen on and gone out and bought a new colour to put on the next day. so dont worry it will be absolutely fine, if anything just always condition your hair well.

Try using shampoos and conditioners intended for color treated hair. I use permanent hair color, and I do it once a month. You don't have to wait more than a week between colorings, so long as your hair is well conditioned. If it is damaged, you should wait until it is in better condition. I have found that 4-6 weeks is the best amount of time to wait between hair colorings, depending on the difference between your dyed hair and your natural hair.
