Coloring my hair during pregnancy?

I asked my Dr's nurse and she said the Dr said it's ok to color my hair as long as it's a well ventilated area. Does anyone know if it's harmful? Should I keep coloring? I colored it once a while back but I'm further along now. I am 25 weeks and 6 days!

I had the same issue when I was pregnant. I did a little bit of research on it and found that its ok to color your hair. Better to do it in the 2nd trimester though. I colored my hair 3 times while I was pregnant. If it were harmful pregnant women wouldn't be doing hair and they wouldn't allow pregnant women into a place to have their hair colored. If coloring your hair is going to make you feel better than do it. I kept looking at my roots while I was pregnant and it made me feel like crap knowing that I looked like crap! However, something you may not be aware of is that the color may not take or..it may come out...very odd because of your hormones :)
