It's safe, as long as you don't use chemical dyes meant for humans.

My friend used to dye her Westie orange for halloween. She used kool-aid, and used a hairdryer to set it. It stayed for a couple of washes, and looked pretty cool.

I have a white dog, too, but I could never imagine dying her a different color. Imagine a purple husky walking around! :)

yes food coloring is safe, its non toxic as its meant to be able to be eaten or ingested.....it is safe but can be very messy....make sure to dry your dog completley after you color him/her to help keep the color from rubbing off on everything so bad......just a littel warning it may still rub off some as it is not a permenant dye

as far as taking it off basically you just have to wait untill it washes out....it will usually do this in about 3-5 washings

Why on Earth would you want to do something like that?

Dogs look best with the hair color they were meant to have. Not sure why you'd want to color your dog's hair!

How to remove it? ... Hmmmmm ... just let it rub off on your carpet and sofa.
