Hypothetically speaking,if I colored a small lock of my hair green with sharpie permanent marker,would i be able to get it out?Would it hurt my hair?

Also, trying to later dye over the top of it may be problematic.

the chemicals in the sharpie would be strong enough to keep it in for a few days, and it would probably do something to your hair.

i colored part of my hair with sharpie in 8th grade. it can wash out in about 2-3 washes but i really does damage your hair(the chemicals in the sharpie)

considering its a SHARPIE it would probably hurt your hair. have u smelt that thing? have u seen what a sharpie does to paper? and ur asking if it wont do damage to ur hair??? --i dont exactly know HOW much damage itll do, it might not even be noticible. but still, some damage?-depending on how long u keep it there fore, YEAH prooobably.

y dont you jsut dye it? it'd be easier and wouldnt smell as bad.

It will wash out in a few days and will not affect your hair. It wasn't your whole head, it was just a little bit.

becuase it has so much alcohol in it, it will dry your hair out, and cause split ends.

nope , the chemicals in the body will break it down in about 10 days or so , on blonde hair it will be noticeable until then , on dark ahir you wount notice it quite as long...

waaaaaaaaay back when i was in highschool , i used to do streaks to match what i was wearing , until they developed crayola WASHABLE markers , then it was a daily change . I would bleach out streaks , then color them with the washables every morning depending on my mood! it was fun , inexpensive , and who i was at the time .

Have fun ....and dont freak out about the sharpie .
