How do scientists analyze hydrogen peroxide for hair dye, or hair coloring?

please let me know, i'm doing a chemistry project and i couldn't find any information on the ACTUAL analysis that they do. I found information on hydrogen peroxide.... but not the analysis. it would be great if you helped :)



How do scientists analyze hydrogen peroxide for hair dye, or hair coloring?

The scientific term for analysis for certain chemical species is called "assay". Googling "hydrogen peroxide assay" gives over a million hits. One reference which would seem to be of some use for what you want would be in the source below. There are other assays of H2O2, but they are for trace amounts found in vivo.
