and tell me why you think it is the best. i have BLACK hair and i dyed i before but my hair is all dried out. i want to dye my hair from black to chocolate brown so i want to know what the best hair coloring product is.

You should get your hair healthy before you consider doing anything. Use a good protein based shampoo like Redken Extreme.
If you are set on colouring your hair, go to a salon that uses the Chi colours....they have no peroxide or ammonia and are better for the hair
