Ok i need some help with hair coloring after a salon has colored it?

i had my hair colored at a salon on tuesday. i told her that i wanted a blonde color. but a natural blonde color. i was like a dirty blonde with some old highlights in it. well she put bleach and mixed 2 colors i guess. anyway im not happy with my haircolor at all. it looks a yellowly blonde and i want to hide it lol. can i go out and buy a brownish blondish box color and dye it again soon. i dont want to wait. it looks horrible to me. what should i do...help!!!!!

You should go back to the salon and tell her that you weren't happy at all with the color, and if she could do it again. You paid for the job, and you obviously want a good job, right? So go and tell her the exact color you want "with toner", make sure to include the toner because that allows the warmth of the blonde to turn into a dirty sandy blonde.

Go back to the salon and have them redo it for free. No box colors!!! Box colors are the HARDEST to get lighter when you want to go light again. Please, whatever you do, don't use a box color. Most reputable salons have a redo policy, or they can give you your money back and you can get it done at another salon. Either way, let the stylist know (nicely) that you are unhappy with your service and would like a redo or a refund. They should oblige. If not, go to the manager, etc.

you need to go to a different salon and have them strip the color and re-color it with a better color. Don't try to fix it on your own. You will most likely either one fry your hair or two end up going to the salon to have them fix the scary color you got out of a box. It is better to have a professional do it. You will be much happier with the end result and have less of a chance of frying your hair.

It's usually best to wait a week or two before coloring your hair so soon. Overprocessing of chemicals on the hair tend to dry out the scalp quickly. To me, it sounds like they used a golden blonde coloring on your hair. Try a light ash blonde on top of that.

yeah you shouldnt have left untill she done it right!!! you out to go back to her and tell her to put a base color that has violet in it. (scary i know) that will cancle out the gold looking blonde and lighten the color to the blonde you like. I have had to do this before. But first get a scalp treatment ( its a deep conitionier)

oh by the way if you want to do it your self heres a good product to use: shimmering lights shampoo. that has violet in it and it helps take out the brassy color. you can get it a beauty stores.
