Hair coloring! HELP please?

i have brown hair with a slight tint of red. Mostly brown. If i were to put red dye over it do you know how it will turn out? I don't want RED hair i want redish brown hair. Get me?

Dont use a red dye, if you have anything but very dark hair the dye will just make your hair go red. Maybe you are better with a mahogany hair colour which is brown with a touch of dark red?

If you need help you should go to the saloon ask the person or workers of what would be the best color that fit you. Please don't do that in your home mybe the saloom are more expensive but the damage of your hair could not replace it. Think it over and over again.

I would stick with a semi-permanent hair color so that you are not actually removing your hair color. With semi permanent you are just adding color to what you already have. Then if it looks like crap it will wash out eventually. If you start messing with peroxide then you will have a problem on your hands. If you don't know what you are doing it will probably not come out how you want it to, and then it is a serious pain in the butt to fix it. So stick with semi-permanent, and use a shade lighter than your normal hair color, so that you don't end up darkening it too much.

dont dye the whole thing.

get one of those brushes that you used for dying ( forgot what they are called )

and add small extra thing strips if hair...

THEN

seperate a small section of hair underneath and add small amounts of red dye.

MAKE SURE ITS EVEN!
